BROS Musical Productions presents Made in Dagenham, based on the true story of women's fight for equal pay in the UK. Set in Dagenham in 1968, it tells the story of Rita, a mother, housewife and machinist at the Ford factory whose life changes when it is announced that the women will have their pay grade dropped to 'unskilled'. Inspired by her friend and colleague Connie, and drawing on a strength she never knew she had, Rita leads the women in a battle for equal pay.
Funny, touching and timeless, Made in Dagenham shows how ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they stand together.
